HG80 brings an unconventional approach to wedding catering in Providence, RI and surrounding areas. Owner Josh Berner created the company to share his passion for creative cuisine through a distinctive food truck experience that doubles as entertainment. The business features a unique food truck equipped with cute animal videos, trivia, and music to engage guests throughout the event. Josh sources ingredients locally whenever possible and makes everything from scratch, including signature items like fish-and-chip tacos, spring-roll tacos, and hamburger tacos, paired with homemade potato chips in flavors such as salt and vinegar, cheddar and salsa, and salt and pepper. The team also crafts custom soft drinks with unexpected flavor combinations like orange and basil and strawberry and cilantro. HG80's basic private event package includes two hours of service with setup and breakdown handled by friendly, food-loving servers. Couples can design custom menus tailored to their preferences and dietary needs. The company uses only recyclable and compostable packaging and donates a portion of profits to animal rescue charities in honor of Josh's beloved dog Mercury.
