DWRI Letterpress, based in Providence, Rhode Island, specializes in full wedding invitation suites created through letterpress printing—a historic art form the team is committed to preserving. Founded by Dan Wood, who studied at the Rhode Island School of Design and has worked in print and production since 1994, the studio brings together a team of accomplished artists. Dan's work has been recognized nationally and internationally, with pieces held in the New York Public Library, RISD Museum of Art, and private collections. The team includes fellow printers Lois, Hope, and Tom, collectively bringing more than 30 years of experience in commercial and fine art printing. DWRI Letterpress serves clients throughout New England and works remotely with clients nationwide. The studio offers both design-guided and fully custom invitations, including save-the-dates, invitations, menus, and coordinating pieces. Each suite can be enhanced with foil stamping and embossed envelopes, and the team regularly collaborates with local calligraphers to add hand-lettered addresses for a finishing touch of elegance.
