Island Time Steel Band

Island Time Steel Band brings a relaxed, vacation-inspired atmosphere to weddings and celebrations across Rhode Island and southeastern New England. Led by steel drummers Gregg Charest and Aaron Cote with over 40 years of combined performance experience, the band specializes in creating the right energy for any event—from laid-back yacht rock to upbeat pop and reggae. They perform as soloists or in their popular duo format, and can expand to include drummer and bassist for higher-energy celebrations. With a repertoire exceeding 1,000 songs spanning genres from Jimmy Buffet and Zac Brown Band to Calvin Harris and Doja Cat, Island Time Steel Band curates playlists tailored to each event's vibe. The band is willing to travel up to 200 miles and offers nearly silent generator options for outdoor performances.
