That’s where Event Atlas comes in. We’re here to help you find the right people, whether you’re planning a wedding or a birthday that’s a little bigger than your living room can handle.
We started Event Atlas because we kept seeing how messy event planning has gotten in a way that doesn’t really serve anyone. On the big national tools, vendors are paying a lot just to be visible, and often even more just to respond to inquiries. Contact information gets sold, which means couples and hosts end up getting flooded with calls and emails from vendors all over the country, most of whom aren’t even a fit for what they’re planning.
And while all of that is happening, there’s another layer nobody really talks about, which is what happens to your information once you start planning. On those platforms, you’re often handing over more data than you realize just to manage something as simple as RSVPs. Grandma just wants to know what time to show up, she didn’t sign up to start getting marketing emails three days later. There's no need for the data grab.
And because not every great local vendor can even afford to be on those platforms, people are still left piecing things together elsewhere. Google gives you everything and nothing at the same time, because there's no real filtering options. Instagram isn’t much better; it’s free and has a lot of pretty pictures, but finding a local vendor is basically just hashtags and luck.
We want you to have the best of both worlds, access to great local businesses without giving up modern, easy-to-use tools. We built Event Atlas so you can keep everything in one place. Wedding websites, RSVPs, inspiration boards, vendor discovery, all of it. We don’t want you bouncing between a dozen different tools just to pull one event together.
And if you’re a vendor yourself, you’re a huge part of why this exists in the first place. The conversations you have with clients are yours, and your messages stay yours, they’re not being sold off somewhere else. We do offer upgrades, because hey, we’re a small business too, but we’ve made a very intentional commitment that free profiles will always be available. We want everyone here, not just the ones who can afford fancy websites or have time to keyword-stuff their Instagram posts.
