Give us a quick overview of your wedding, where it was, the vibe, and what made it yours.
Once upon a time, there were two high school sweethearts who lived on the same street in Bristol, RI. After six years of dating Christine and Matt got married. We had our ceremony at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Bristol, RI. We had our reception at then the newly built Newport Marriott. Since it was still being built when we set our wedding date. Initially it was to be a Holiday Inn, but it was bought out by Marriott, thankfully before our invitations went out. I was worried that the Marriott would not honor the deal I had made with the Holiday Inn, but they did! They took care of everything! We had a cocktail hour with a live Jazz band and open bar and plenty of hors d'oeuvres. They were very accommodating because we had to take all our pictures indoors since it was raining outside (my Grandmother said it was good luck if it rains at your wedding?). The reception took place in the ballroom where we hosted 250 guests (What can I say, I'm Italian lol). There was a live band and we danced until the end of the night! We did the traditional things at the wedding, like the toasts by the Best Man, Cutting a tiered cake, the garter and the tossing of bouquet. Way back when, the bride actually changed into a "going away dress" to signify the night was over and the bride and groom were going on their way to their married lives together. So, I changed into a very lovely pink dress and my new husband changed into a suit and after being surrounded by all our guests for a sendoff, we were on our way to our new life.

The Reception
Tell us about the first dance (or the moment the dance floor opened).
Our first dance was to our song was to Can't Help Falling in Love with You by Elvis (sung by Doug Botelho)
Did anything go unexpectedly (funny, touching, or chaotic)?
Our Limo didn't show up so thankfully my parents, Marie and Bob Rondeau, had a limo for the day. We hijacked theirs! Also, Funny Not Funny, my mother in law wore white to the wedding
