Smokey Stax BBQ Catering is an on-site, authentic pit-smoked BBQ catering company based in Hingham, Massachusetts, just south of Boston. The company's pit-master prepares and slowly pit smokes all food over wood fire from start to finish before bringing their 22-foot competition quality custom built BBQ pit directly to clients' homes, venues, or workplaces. The massive BBQ pit can accommodate over 900 pounds of meat and is capable of serving up to 2,000 people at a time, making it well-suited for both intimate backyard gatherings and large corporate functions. Once on site, the team sets up a fully dressed buffet and carving station, performs any necessary on-site cooking, and serves guests from an all-you-can-eat buffet. They offer stationed or passed appetizers for cocktail hours and can assist with cake cutting when needed. The menu features traditional style, fresh-from-the-pit, 100% wood fired BBQ fare including slow smoked jumbo pork spare ribs, BBQ beef brisket, juicy pulled pork, BBQ smoked chicken, and whole-hog roasts. Traditional sides include creamy macaroni and cheese, fresh coleslaw, cornbread, and fire-grilled corn on the cob with their signature BBQ butter.
