The Smoke Shop BBQ brings championship-level barbecue to weddings and celebrations across Greater Boston. Founded by pitmaster and chef Andy Husbands, the catering operation draws on Andy's 20+ years on the competitive BBQ circuit and nearly 30 years as a Boston chef. His team iQue made history as the first non-Southern team to win the prestigious Jack Daniels BBQ competition. Since opening their first location in 2016, The Smoke Shop BBQ has expanded to six restaurants across the Boston area, including Cambridge, Seaport, Somerville, and East Boston. The catering division, led by CJ Kelly, designs custom menus for weddings of all sizes. They offer both drop-off service and on-site smoking with their Meadow Creek smoker, bringing the full barbecue experience directly to your venue. Their menu features traditional barbecue favorites prepared with the same techniques that have earned them multiple awards. The Smoke Shop BBQ has been recognized as Boston's Best BBQ by Boston Magazine four times between 2018 and 2022, and by Improper Magazine in 2017 and 2018. They serve rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, and late-night bites, bringing families and friends together over authentic American barbecue. The team works throughout Greater Boston and surrounding communities.
