Annie and the Fur Trappers

Annie and the Fur Trappers is a musical ensemble bringing the bright, brassy sounds of 1920s traditional jazz and blues to weddings across New England. Founded in 2016 in St. Louis, Missouri, the band has been based in Boston since its inception and features a seven-piece lineup including clarinet, trumpet, trombone, bass, banjo, guitar, and washboard. The group is dedicated to performing and preserving the traditional jazz, delta blues, ragtime, and swing music of the 1920s and 30s. Annie and the Fur Trappers come equipped with their own sound system and offer all-inclusive music packages for wedding celebrations. While the band maintains an extensive setlist of period-authentic songs, they are also willing to learn new numbers to accommodate couples' requests. The ensemble serves clients throughout the New England area and is available for travel to wedding venues across the region. For couples seeking more contemporary wedding music in the style of artists like Stevie Wonder, Taylor Swift, and Amy Winehouse, Annie also performs in a separate band called Taking Vows that plays the standard wedding repertoire.
