Betty's Bounce

Betty's Bounce is a jazz trio featuring two acoustic guitars and acoustic bass, specializing in music inspired by Django Reinhardt and the Hot Club of France style that originated in 1930s Paris. The ensemble performs American Jazz standards and popular tunes with a distinctive gypsy jazz interpretation. The trio is led by Audie Bridges, who holds a Bachelor's degree in Composition from Berklee College of Music and a Master's degree in Jazz Studies from The New England Conservatory, with additional study under notable jazz guitarists including Charlie Banacos, Mick Goodrick, and Pat Martino. Curtis Doo brings a background in Music Education from Berklee and experience as a member of the Tanglewood Festival chorus, having performed under conductors John Williams and Seiji Ozawa. Sam Bridges completes the trio on bass, having studied with David Landoni at Salem State University and performed in jazz ensembles and orchestras since middle school. With 13 years in business and verified bookings, Betty's Bounce performs at weddings, engagement parties, and celebrations throughout the greater Boston area, traveling up to 100 miles from their Wakefield base.
