Chicken Slacks

Chicken Slacks is a seven-piece specialty band dedicated to classic revue-style soul and funk, drawing from their acclaimed seventeen-year residency at Boston's Cantab Lounge. The Boston Herald has recognized their Thursday residency as one of the city's best. Over the course of their career, the band has performed at nearly 300 weddings across nine states, bringing their signature Cantab show to couples who have followed their live performances. Music director and emcee Jeremy Valadez leads the planning process, working closely with couples to coordinate their reception music. The band maintains proactive communication with wedding planners and venue representatives throughout the planning process. Their approach includes attentive leadership on reception day and careful sound management to suit each venue.
