Hot Club of New England

The Hot Club of New England is a musical collective featuring top swing, gypsy, and hot jazz musicians in the New England area. Founded by vocalist Atla DeChamplain, violinist Jason Anick of the internationally renowned Rhythm Future Quartet, guitarist Max O'Rourke, and bassist Greg Loughman, the ensemble brings the elegant style of the swing era and roaring 20s to contemporary events. Their repertoire contains echoes of Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, and other legends of the Great American Songbook, blended with the French Manouche style of Django Reinhardt and the Quintette du Hot Club de France. The core instrumentation of voice, violin, acoustic guitar, and upright bass works exceptionally well for intimate gatherings while maintaining the power to draw guests to the dance floor. The group offers the flexibility to add piano, drums, clarinet, accordion, and other instruments to suit different event needs. With 9 years in business, they serve the greater Boston area and are willing to travel up to 500 miles for events.
