Hot Club of New England

The Hot Club of New England is a musical collective dedicated to bringing the elegant swing era and roaring 1920s to modern audiences. Founded by vocalist Atla DeChamplain, violinist and leader Jason Anick (of the internationally acclaimed Rhythm Future Quartet), guitarist Max O'Rourke, and bassist Greg Loughman, the ensemble draws inspiration from Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, and Django Reinhardt's French Manouche style. The core instrumentation of voice, violin, acoustic guitar, and upright bass creates an intimate yet energetic sound, with optional additions of piano, drums, clarinet, and accordion. This flexible arrangement works exceptionally well for weddings and special events, with the power to draw guests to the dance floor. Based in the Boston area, the band serves a wide geographic region and is willing to travel up to 500 miles for performances.
