Sinti Rhythm Quartet

Sinti Rhythm Quartet is an acoustic jazz quartet specializing in classic swing music with a sophisticated, Continental flavor. The ensemble's repertoire spans standards from the Great American Songbook, lesser-known gems from the 1920s through 1950s, and compositions inspired by legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt. Their gently amplified instrumentation features clarinet, lead and rhythm guitars, and string bass, creating a fresh, lighthearted sound with an infectious beat that evokes the heyday of classic jazz. The clarinetist provides vocals when desired, handling them with an easy touch. With 16 years of experience, the quartet has performed at numerous weddings—covering ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions—as well as private functions. Their performance history includes the Brooklyn Djangology Festival, French Cultural Center of Boston, Gore Place Summer Concert Series, and Novartis Corporation events. They've also appeared at venues including Toad, Cantab Lounge, The Stork Club, and maintained a regular presence at Atwood's Tavern in Cambridge for over four years. The ensemble has been featured on WMBR-FM and WBUR's "Here and Now" with Robin Young. Sinti Rhythm takes pride in tailoring their music to each client's needs and accommodating requests within their musical wheelhouse. They've been happy to help brides walk down the aisle to selections by Lennon and McCartney, Bach, Pachelbel, and folk songs. The quartet serves the greater Boston area and is willing to travel up to 125 miles for events.
