The Creswell Club

The Creswell Club is a jazz ensemble specializing in music from the 1920s and 30s, swing, and classic standards. The band's repertoire spans jazz standards to bossa nova, Motown to the Rat Pack, and includes interpretations of artists from Edith Piaf to Lana Del Rey. Members of the ensemble have performed with celebrated artists including Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck, Chaka Khan, and Ray Charles. The band was named The Bash's Top Jazz Ensemble for 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, and has won Best of the Bash awards five consecutive years. The Creswell Club offers flexible ensemble configurations ranging from duo to septet. The musicians are multi-instrumentalists offering guitar, piano, bass, drums, saxophone, trumpet, clarinet, banjo, accordion, and vocals. The band works closely with clients on styles and song selections, drawing from a repertoire of thousands of songs and creating custom arrangements. They serve the Boston area including Cambridge, Newton, Brookline, Medford, Quincy, Waltham, and surrounding communities, and are willing to travel up to 3,000 miles for events. The ensemble performs at weddings, corporate functions, anniversary parties, and other celebrations.
