The Vine Shakers

The Vine Shakers is a wedding band based in Edgartown, Massachusetts, formerly known as the Joanne Cassidy Band. Led by Joanne Cassidy and Ryan Claunch, the group brings a passion for music and entertaining to every performance. With experience performing at countless weddings, they offer hundreds of song choices spanning a wide variety of musical styles. The band provides over seven musicians for wedding performances, covering genres including top 40, punk rock, jazz, funk, R&B/soul, gospel, folk, and reggae. Their performances are described as fun, creative, and lively. The Vine Shakers offer comprehensive wedding entertainment services, including ceremony music, cocktail hour, instrumentals, reception performances, and MC services. They are willing to learn new songs for couples and provide music during breaks. The band supplies their own sound/PA system, lighting, and microphones, and offers sample music for couples to review. They also provide karaoke services and are willing to travel for events. The group has been recognized with WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards in 2018, 2019, and 2020.
