Chapter One

Chapter One is a restaurant and venue located in downtown Mystic, Connecticut, that specializes in hosting wedding rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and celebration parties. Founded in August 2016 by friends Daniel Van Kruiningen and Kenneth Fontaine, the establishment combines their professional expertise with a passion for food and beverage service. In June 2018, they expanded with a second location in Guilford, Connecticut. The culinary team prepares a New American menu with diverse options to accommodate various dietary preferences and tastes. Their offerings include vegan and gluten-free dishes, fresh seafood, and dry-aged steaks. The beverage program features 24 beers on tap alongside other drink selections.
