Colonel Blackinton Inn

Colonel Blackinton Inn is a historic venue located in Attleboro, Massachusetts, situated on the banks of the Bungay River. Built in 1850 by Colonel Willard Blackinton, this Greek Revival-style home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and exudes quintessential New England charm. The inn is conveniently located less than 30 minutes from Providence and about an hour from Boston. Owned by Antony and Kimberly Canova, the inn combines historic architecture with modern hospitality. Antony, a Culinary Institute of America graduate, leads the catering team, while Kimberly specializes in hospitality services. The property features multiple event spaces, including the Jenkin's House, a private structure with elegant decor and a beautiful hearth centerpiece, and a private function room in the main building. The venue accommodates engagement parties, showers, rehearsal dinners, and intimate weddings. Jenkin's House can host up to 55 guests, the main dining room seats 20 comfortably, and couples can rent the entire property for events of up to 100 attendees. The catering team creates menus using local ingredients and sustainable products, offering plated dinner, lunch, or brunch service styles. Nine uniquely decorated private guestrooms are available for overnight stays.
