Democracy Brewing

Democracy Brewing is a restaurant and event venue located in Boston's Downtown Crossing district. Since opening in 2018, the brewery has focused on crafting beer on-site and serving made-from-scratch dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients. The venue is situated in the historic Temple Place district, with nearby accommodations, nightlife, churches, and gardens. The venue offers flexible event spaces to accommodate groups ranging from 25 to 200 guests. The semi-private lounge features rustic décor, chandeliers, and wooden details, accommodating up to 30 standing guests or 16 seated. The larger private dining space holds 50 seated or 75 standing guests, with bright lighting and textured crimson walls. Full venue buyouts are also available. Democracy Brewing provides in-house catering with dining styles ranging from appetizers to buffets and plated dinners. Beer and hard seltzer are served directly from on-site brewing tanks. Event amenities include a Sonos sound system, high-definition projector, and all tables, chairs, flatware, and glassware.
