Marcello's Restaurant is a restaurant venue hosting weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, and other celebrations in Suffern, New York. The business is owned and operated by Chef Marcello Russodivito, who brings over 25 years of culinary experience to the table. Born and raised in Campobasso, Italy, Chef Marcello began working in restaurants at age 13 and later studied in Tuscany before traveling internationally to refine his skills. He opened his first New York restaurant in 1986 and has since appeared on television shows and films, as well as published his own cookbook.
The venue features an intimate dining room with dark wood furniture, soft lantern lighting, and a countryside mural adorning the walls. A curated selection of vintage wines lines the space. The restaurant also includes a ballroom-style area with wooden walls and a grand piano. Accommodating up to 100 guests, Marcello's caters to engagement parties, showers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, rehearsal dinners, receptions, after-parties, and brunches. For culinary enthusiasts, Chef Marcello offers cooking classes and private dinners in the state-of-the-art kitchen.
Couples can choose from multiple package options based on the number of courses desired. Traditional Italian menus feature antipasto boards, pasta, leafy green salads, and selections of fresh meat and fish, followed by desserts. Beverage packages include wines, beers, and liquors. Cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres such as seared tuna with spicy sauce, bacon-wrapped scallops, and beef tartare are also available.
