5 Star Events is a small wedding entertainment company based on the South Shore of Massachusetts. Owner Dave Hodges provides a boutique DJ experience by booking only one wedding per day, allowing him to fully focus on each couple and their guests. This personalized approach ensures individual needs are met throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself. The company works with all major music genres including Top 40, Pop, R&B/Soul, Country, Oldies, and Hip-Hop. Couples can share their genre preferences and create a do-not-play list during an initial consultation. Dave provides sound and PA systems, microphones, and uplighting as part of his available equipment offerings. 5 Star Events has received WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards consecutively from 2009 through 2022, as well as The Knot Best of Weddings awards in 2013, 2022, and 2023. The company serves couples throughout the South Shore Massachusetts region.
