DJ RJ

DJ RJ is a Boston-based DJ and musician who combines formal music training from Berklee College of Music with hands-on DJ experience spanning 12 years. Originally from Philadelphia, DJ RJ expanded his musical range at Berklee, where he launched his own radio program "Free The Music" in 2007-08 and spent time in recording studios learning the art of mixing and microphone control. What sets DJ RJ apart is his ability to play the viola alongside his DJ work, bringing a classical musician's ear to contemporary event entertainment. He has earned multiple Best of awards from The Bash (2015, 2016, 2017, 2019) and verified bookings recognition. DJ RJ serves weddings, sweet 16s, corporate functions, birthday parties, and community events throughout the Boston area. He offers both family-friendly clean music and adult party selections, adapting his mixing style and song choices to each event. He provides emcee services, karaoke DJ options, and specializes in Latin music. DJ RJ travels up to 100 miles from his base in Boston and serves areas including Cambridge, Newton, Brookline, Quincy, Watertown, Waltham, and surrounding communities.
