Tim Lacatena is a Los Angeles-based DJ and saxophonist who combines live saxophone performance with DJ sets to create distinctive entertainment experiences. With over a decade in the industry, he has performed at high-profile events including Super Bowl LVII, The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, and for major brands such as Google, Gucci, Porsche, BMW, Adidas, and IBM Think. His performance history spans corporate conferences, brand activations, galas, premiere events, and music festivals across locations including Italy, the Cayman Islands, St. Barths, Hawaii, and major U.S. cities. Tim's musical approach draws from a library of over 10,000 songs spanning all genres and decades, with particular emphasis on nu disco, funky house, electro pop, and what he describes as Saint-Tropez vibes. He crafts sets that range from uplifting remixes to classic throwbacks and contemporary Top 40. His background includes training at the School of American Ballet, the Royal Ballet in London, and Berklee College of Music, as well as acting work in films like "Step Up". While based in Southern California with focus areas including LA, Orange County, San Diego, Palm Springs, and Santa Barbara, Tim travels nationally and internationally for events.
