Fr. Matthew Bailey - Franciscans of Mercy

Fr. Matthew Bailey is a member of the Franciscan Community of Mercy, an Independent Catholic order based in Orange, CT. He serves as pastor of St. Joseph of Arimathea American National Catholic Church in New Haven. Fr. Matthew's ministry is distinctively inclusive, as he is able to officiate weddings outside of traditional church buildings, for divorced couples, and for others who have experienced difficulty with the institutional church. His Independent Catholic affiliation allows him to provide Catholic-tradition ceremonies with greater flexibility than mainstream denominations typically offer.
