Journey of Light Ministry

Journey of Light Ministry is led by Reverend Doug Goodson and his wife, Teri, who have been officiating wedding ceremonies for 17 years throughout Massachusetts and Rhode Island. As interfaith ministers licensed in both states, they specialize in creating personalized ceremonies that engage guests and provide couples with meaningful experiences. Rev. Doug and Teri work with couples through an initial consultation to discuss their vision and plan every detail of their ceremony. They have extensive experience with diverse religious traditions including Anglican, Catholic, Jewish, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Baptist, and Unitarian, as well as non-religious and interfaith ceremonies. The ministry offers services for civil unions, vow renewals, and ceremony rehearsals. Couples can customize and write their own vows with guidance from the officiants. Teri also assists with wedding party coordination on the ceremony day, helping line up attendants and confidently sending them down the aisle. Rev. Doug and Teri conduct ceremonies of varying lengths, typically ranging from under 30 minutes to one hour depending on the couple's preferences.
