Chris McIntosh of C. McIntosh Weddings brings a fine art background and over a decade of experience to wedding photography across New England and beyond. With a BFA from Lesley University and a foundation in darkroom photography, Chris has photographed hundreds of weddings since capturing their first celebration at age 20. Their documentary approach focuses on authentic moments—nervous laughter during vows, unexpected emotions, carefully arranged table details, and the energy of the day as it naturally unfolds. Chris has documented weddings ranging from California mountaintop celebrations to deep woods gatherings in Maine and intimate City Hall elopements. Their experimental style, developed through years of hands-on learning, creates romantic and timeless images that capture both the planned and spontaneous moments of each celebration. Based in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, Chris brings a warm, unobtrusive presence to wedding days, meeting couples where they are and documenting the real and uncomplicated alongside the sweeping and significant. When not photographing weddings, Chris enjoys bike rides, hiking, making music, and cooking at home with partner Hannah and their dog Maizey.
