Daphne & Dean is the husband-and-wife photography team of Erin and Peter, based in Middletown, Connecticut. Their approach blends classic portraits with candid, joyful moments, creating cozy, natural, and organic imagery that focuses on in-between moments and genuine emotions. Rather than posing subjects, they direct couples to interact in ways that reveal authentic personalities and reactions. The team serves weddings across Connecticut, the Hudson Valley, and throughout New England. They are drawn to couples who are fun, adventurous, and value being present in the moment, as well as weddings that showcase unique and personal details. The husband-and-wife duo named their business after their two cats, Daphne and Dean. Erin and Peter have been recognized with multiple WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards from 2015 through 2019, and they were honored as a Best of Weddings recipient by The Knot in 2025.
