Michelle Girard Photography specializes in wedding photography that emphasizes emotion, movement, and authentic connection. Michelle's background in fine art began in childhood and evolved through formal training at the Rochester Institute of Technology, with additional study in fashion photography in London and Prague. After working as a photographer at Coach and in the J.Crew studios in New York City, she discovered her passion for wedding photography while assisting a friend. She now works full-time as one of the few dedicated wedding photographers in the Northern Connecticut and Western Massachusetts area. Her photography approach draws on her knowledge of light, tone, and composition developed through years of artistic practice. Michelle concentrates on capturing the beauty in both the details and emotions of the wedding day, creating images that reflect each couple's unique energy and connection.
