Stephen Lamb Photography is based in Sandy Hook, Connecticut, and brings over a decade of professional photography and film industry experience to wedding coverage. Stephen attended film school in Montana and spent eight years as a freelance lighting designer in the film industry before focusing on wedding photography. He currently works as a video producer for a New York City publication while shooting a select number of weddings each year. Stephen returned to wedding photography after a two-year break to focus on his growing family and now has immediate availability for couples at any stage of planning. His approach emphasizes creative, unique photography over formulaic shots, drawing on his film lighting expertise to create well-lit images without relying on filters or post-processing tricks. Stephen intentionally limits the number of weddings he photographs annually to maintain high energy and keep his creative ideas fresh. He focuses on working with couples who value image quality over quantity and are interested in capturing fun, distinctive photos that break from traditional wedding photography conventions.
