Sue Takes Photos is a wedding photography business based in North Haven, Connecticut, led by owner and photographer Sue Yang. A former scientist and published medical researcher, Sue changed careers to pursue her passion for photography, bringing a creative and analytical approach to her work. As a trained violinist, she applies her artistic sensibilities to create images with keen attention to light, color, and composition. Her photographic work has been featured in Brides and Weddings Magazine, Hola!, and on Grammy-nominated albums. Sue specializes in contemporary, photojournalistic wedding photography that captures candid moments and dramatic movement. She offers coverage from engagement shoots through the wedding day, with options to add a second photographer and additional hours to ensure complete documentation of your celebration. Sue spends approximately a third of the year traveling in Europe and beyond, making her available for destination weddings with aligned schedules and no additional travel fees. Couples receive their images as digital files, printed on canvas, or within custom wedding albums.
