Wed & Gather

Wed & Gather is a boutique wedding planning service based in Cambridge, MA, founded by Laura Young in 2025. Before launching Wed & Gather, Laura spent nearly a decade in sales and public relations, developing skills in thoughtful event design. She also gained hands-on wedding experience working as a wedding assistant on weekends before transitioning to full-time wedding planning. The company offers three planning packages to accommodate different levels of involvement. Full-service planning begins 12-18 months before the wedding and includes event design, budget creation, and vendor coordination. For couples who have their own ideas but need help with execution, partial planning services are available. Day-of coordination handles all logistics as the celebration approaches. Laura begins each engagement with a consultation to understand the couple's vision and recommend the package that best fits their needs. Wed & Gather serves couples throughout Boston and across New England. The business is currently booking weddings for 2027.
