19Main is a historic wedding venue housed in the United Bank Building, constructed in 1902 after the Great Fire of New Milford. Originally built to house two banks—New Milford Savings Bank and New Milford First National Bank—the building served its banking purpose until the early 1980s before falling into disrepair. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, the structure was acquired by Village Green Investments in 2015 and underwent nine months of renovations to become 19Main. The venue preserves the building's architectural heritage while incorporating modern amenities. Three original bank vaults remain from its banking days, complemented by dramatic 18-foot ceilings and magnificent hardwood floors. The restoration maintained the historic character while updating the interiors for contemporary hospitality needs. 19Main accommodates up to 130 guests and offers versatile event spaces suitable for both intimate sit-down receptions and larger cocktail-style celebrations. The venue provides experienced day-of coordinators as part of their wedding support services. Dressing rooms, WiFi, rentals, and equipment are available on-site. The team works with couples to create customized wedding packages tailored to their specific needs.
