Connecticut Landmarks

Connecticut Landmarks operates the Nathan Hale Homestead, a historic wedding venue in Coventry, Connecticut. The property is the birthplace of Connecticut's state hero, Nathan Hale, and features two lovingly restored barns dating to the 18th and 19th centuries. The English-style barn is framed with rare gunstock timber and can accommodate up to 50 guests for seated dinners, cocktail hours, or receptions. The 19th-century dairy barn includes a service prep area with a refrigerator, freezer, warming oven, and service window overlooking the patio. Both barns feature modern amenities including air-conditioning, fans, dimmable lighting, and electrical outlets. Behind the barns, an expansive green space can host up to 250 guests under a tented seating area. The property is surrounded by stone walls and lush forest, adjacent to a large state forest. Connecticut Landmarks also operates a second venue in Suffield at the Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden. The homestead is LGBTQ+ friendly and located convenient to Hartford via major roadways.
