Discovery Science Center

Discovery Science Center offers couples a distinctive wedding experience in historic Bridgeport, Connecticut. Founded in 1958, this venue combines award-winning architecture with interactive science exhibits and cutting-edge technology. The centerpiece is the Henry B. duPont III Planetarium, featuring a 33-foot diameter full dome with a dual-projector 4K laser projection system. Couples can exchange vows under a star-filled sky or present a customized show for up to 80 guests. The venue provides three floors of event space, including a center gallery suitable for sit-down receptions. The building retains architectural elements from its fine arts heritage, with design features that allow natural light to fill the interior spaces. A fully-equipped professional kitchen is available onsite for chosen caterers to prepare meals. Basic rental includes setup and cleanup services along with event rental decor.
