First Religious Society Unitarian Universalist is a historic 1801 meetinghouse located in downtown Newburyport, Massachusetts. The building features Federalist style architecture and sits within the town's historic district. Its distinctive steeple, topped with a bell crafted by the Paul Revere & Sons foundry in 1816, serves as a recognizable landmark visible from miles around. Inside the sanctuary, the space maintains its original character with historic box pews and 41 large pane glass windows that provide natural light throughout the year. The meetinghouse houses notable musical instruments including an 1834 Joseph Alley organ and an 1898 Steinway model A grand piano. The venue is equipped with live streaming capabilities for ceremonies.
