Mountain Meadows is a private 52-acre mountain resort in the Catskills that hosts one wedding at a time with exclusive use of the entire property. Located two and a half hours from New York City in Callicoon, NY, the venue features a spectacular event barn alongside resort-style amenities including a heated pool, hot tubs, sauna, sports courts, fire pits, and sweeping Catskill mountain views. Originally a family compound that evolved into a five-star mountain resort, Mountain Meadows opened its new party barn and lodge in 2025. The barn combines soaring timber beams and thoughtful architectural details with modern rustic design and refined comfort. The property accommodates up to 175 reception guests and provides overnight lodging for up to 30 guests on-site, making it suited for weekend weddings and destination celebrations. Mountain Meadows does not offer in-house catering, instead providing couples with a vetted list of preferred Catskills caterers familiar with the property. This approach gives couples complete freedom to personalize their celebration across different styles, cuisines, and budgets. The exclusive-use model ensures that wedding parties have the entire resort to themselves from welcome drinks through farewell brunch, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the weekend experience rather than simply attending a single-day event.
