New England Air Museum

The New England Air Museum is a historic wedding venue in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, located near Bradley International Airport. As the largest aviation museum in New England, the venue features over 100 world-class aircraft across three heated and air-conditioned hangars, creating a distinctive setting for wedding celebrations. The venue offers three separate spaces for progressive events. The Military Hangar serves as the primary reception space, accommodating 250 seated guests with ample room for dancing among military aircraft. The Civilian Hangar provides a cocktail hour setting with a spacious mezzanine overlooking unique civilian aircraft. The B-29 Hangar features a B-29 Superfortress as a ceremony backdrop, with seating options alongside the couple or viewing from a second mezzanine. Meeting rooms can be converted into a bridal suite. The museum partners exclusively with Longitude Catering, part of Latitude Restaurant in West Springfield, Massachusetts, for all food and beverage services. Interactive elements include guest access to aircraft cockpits for photo opportunities, tours, scavenger hunts, flight simulators, and flight science demonstrations. The venue provides complimentary parking, wi-fi access, and museum entry for guests. The facility has been at its current location since 1981, following the tornado destruction of its original 1959 site. The venue is easily accessible from Springfield, Massachusetts (25 minutes), Hartford, Connecticut (30 minutes), and Boston, Massachusetts (under 2 hours).
