Quonquont Farm is a classic New England farm spanning 200 acres in Whately, Massachusetts. For more than ten years, the venue has hosted elegant weddings on its picturesque property featuring old-fashioned apple orchards, rambling blueberry patches, sparkling ponds, flowering meadows, and forested uplands. The centerpiece is a century-old barn that has been painstakingly restored into a 5,000 square foot climate-controlled event space with seating for up to 200 guests. The barn includes a full bar, catering kitchen, spacious restrooms, bistro and twinkle lights, round tables with fruitwood chiavari chairs, and floor-length ivory linens.
Couples can choose from three distinct ceremony locations: a manicured lawn with views of meadows and mountains, a heritage apple orchard, or a post-and-beam pavilion that provides shelter rain or shine. After the ceremony, guests enjoy cocktails at the charming garden-shed style outdoor bar or on the flagstone patio filled with high-top tables and umbrellas. The Silo Bar serves creative cocktails infused with farm-grown seasonal produce, flowers, fresh fruit, and cider.
Each wedding includes exclusive use of the property for the full day, pre-event planning and day-of coordination, access to a dressing suite in the renovated farmhouse starting at 9:00am, six hours of event time from 4:00pm to 10:00pm, and a ceremony rehearsal. The experienced coordination team provides personalized vendor recommendations, rental item facilitation, timeline management, floorplan design, and all setup and breakdown. Couples hire their own licensed, insured, full-service caterer to use the onsite catering kitchen.
