Rooted Lounge

Rooted Lounge is a bar and wedding venue in Higganum, Connecticut, featuring a warehouse-style space that blends industrial and botanical aesthetics. The venue was designed to inspire creativity, with eclectic decor that adds distinctive character to wedding celebrations. The main dining space can be transformed to suit different visions, while an arcade room provides entertainment for guests of all ages. The venue accommodates up to 150 guests and offers private use of the entire space for up to 8 hours. Couples can exchange vows in front of the on-site fireplace, then use the state park across the road for wedding photography. On-site casual catering is available buffet-style, described as food truck fare without the truck, along with custom craft cocktail and mocktail menus. Outdoor firepits provide additional gathering space during warmer months. The events team at Rooted Lounge has worked with over 400 couples. Couples have the flexibility to bring their own decor or work with the on-site florist. The venue also provides recommendations for area wedding vendors. Appetizer options include grilled cheese bites and mini meatballs, complemented by wine, beer, and specialty beverages.
