The Hounds is located one mile from the harbor in Stonington Borough, Connecticut, adjacent to the Avalonia Paffard Marsh preserve. The venue features floor to ceiling sliding glass doors throughout, custom nautical lighting fixtures made in-house, and a double-sided bar with mahogany and cherry bar tops. The property is nestled amidst a tranquil saltwater marsh and nature preserve, home to deer, herons, egrets, and osprey. The venue offers three distinct spaces for events. The Quarterdeck Room features elegant nautical lighting and a custom bar, accommodating up to 200 guests with stunning marsh views from every seat. The Aft Deck is a covered terrace complete with heaters and fire pits, available for cocktails or ceremonies. The Knot Room accommodates intimate gatherings of up to 35 guests and includes an adjacent rose garden with French doors leading to the mahogany bar. The Hounds provides exclusive access to the entire property on event days, including a bridal suite and groom room. On-site lawn or terrace ceremonies are available with white padded garden chairs. The venue works with a curated selection of approved caterers, and a Hounds representative remains on-site throughout events to coordinate with vendors. The property operates year-round and is designed to be New England weather-proof.
