Willowdale Estate

Willowdale Estate is a private mansion wedding venue located in Topsfield, Massachusetts, just 30 miles north of Boston. Set within the 720-acre Bradley Palmer State Park forest along the Ipswich River, this beautifully restored 1902 stone mansion offers a secluded New England setting for celebrations. The estate has been operated by owner Briar Forsythe since 2007, with an experienced team of coordinators, event planners, and culinary staff. The venue hosts two distinct wedding seasons. Tent Season runs from May through October for parties of 125 to 240 guests, featuring a handcrafted Sperry sailcloth tent on the grounds with lush garden courtyards for outdoor ceremonies. Mansion Season from November through April accommodates 80 to 125 guests inside the historic estate. Indoor spaces include the Great Room with cathedral ceilings and orchestra balcony, a glass conservatory with panoramic views and exposed fieldstone, an airy Dining Room, and a cozy Parlor. The second floor offers three hospitality suites that serve as get-ready rooms or break-out spaces. Willowdale Estate provides full-service all-inclusive packages with exclusive use of the property. The culinary team supplies restaurant-style catering using locally sourced ingredients. Services include event coordination, group tastings, vendor meetings, and day-of wedding party coaching. The venue welcomes people of every race, religion, and gender identity.
