Arreaux Strings

Arreaux Strings provides live chamber music for weddings and special events throughout the Newton area. They offer flexible ensemble configurations including string quartets, trios, duos, and solo performances for ceremony, cocktail hour, reception, and rehearsal dinner settings. The group performs a diverse repertoire spanning classical music, pop arrangements, ragtime, opera, and show tune favorites, with string quartets offering the most extensive selection. They accommodate special song requests for a $25 fee per song when given sufficient advance notice. Arreaux Strings has experience performing at weddings, private parties, art gallery openings, brunches, dinner events, fundraisers, bat mitzvahs, funerals, and milestone birthday celebrations. They collaborate with vocalists and church music directors, and have performed music for Catholic masses and services of other denominations. The ensemble accommodates short-notice bookings and works to serve clients whether planning a week or months in advance.
