Dongbin Shin | Violinist

Dongbin Shin is a professional classical violinist based in West Hartford, CT, with 20 years of experience performing at weddings and other special events. Winner of the 2011 Central Washington University Concerto Competition and former member of the Shin Trio, Dongbin has performed at weddings, graduations, official government meetings, and community events. He previously served as concertmaster of the Hartt Symphony Orchestra at The Hartt School and as a techniques class instructor for undergraduate violinists. Dongbin holds a Masters degree and a Graduate Professional Diploma in violin performance. While specializing in classical music, Dongbin is receptive to requests across a variety of genres, including pop, Disney, Hollywood, Bollywood, and Jpop. He offers flexible instrumentation options: solo violin, duets (violin/piano, violin/violin, violin/viola, or violin/cello), string trio, piano trio, and string quartet.
