Francesco Barone, Classical Guitarist

Francesco Barone is a classical guitarist who has been performing weddings and events for over ten years throughout New England and beyond. He is currently a doctoral candidate at the Hartt School, University of Hartford, where he also earned his master's degree, and holds a bachelor's degree from Temple University. As a concert artist, Francesco has performed at venues throughout the Northeast including the CT Guitar Society, New England Guitar Society, and The Hartt School Guitar Festival, as well as numerous libraries throughout Connecticut. Francesco brings the sensitivity and artistry cultivated as a concert artist to every engagement. He is versatile, with a command over many styles including the traditional wedding repertoire and popular genres, and can arrange any song request for the guitar. In addition to performing as a soloist, he also performs in various ensembles with popular instruments including violin, flute, and cello. Francesco has performed at Connecticut venues including The Hill-Stead Museum, The Old State House, Harkness State Park, Wickham Park, Elizabeth Park, Inn at Fox Hill Farm, Old Saybrook Inn, Simsbury Inn, The Fox Hill Inn, Rosedale Farm and Vineyard, The Society Room, and St. Patrick's in Hartford, among others. He is a WeddingWire Couples' Choice Awards winner for 2016, 2017, and 2018.
