International Strings

International Strings is a Boston-based music ensemble offering live performance services for weddings, corporate events, and private parties. The group's musicians are graduates of American and European conservatories, bringing over 10 years of professional experience and more than 1,500 events to their portfolio. The ensemble specializes in flexible instrumentation, allowing clients to customize their lineup with string instruments alongside trumpet, flute, and vocals. Their repertoire spans classical works from Bach to Debussy, pop and rock arrangements including Beatles and Coldplay, jazz styles from Dixieland to smooth jazz, and world music encompassing Klezmer, French Gypsy jazz, Latin, Irish, Celtic, Eastern European, and bluegrass traditions. The group maintains a song list of over 400 titles and accommodates custom arrangement requests. International Strings emphasizes responsive communication, with their manager available by phone and email throughout the week. The ensemble provides detailed event questionnaires to finalize musical selections and performance logistics ahead of time. They welcome guest performers from client parties and work to learn new songs upon request when possible. The group received the WeddingWire Couples' Choice Award in 2017.
