Based in Quincy, Massachusetts, R.D. King is an award-winning acoustic wedding guitarist serving Boston, Cambridge, the North Shore, South Shore, MetroWest, and throughout New England. A virtuoso fingerstyle guitarist and accomplished composer, King brings over fifteen years of professional performance experience to weddings and private events. His elegant solo instrumental acoustic guitar creates a warm, romantic atmosphere for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions. Classically trained and a graduate of Ithaca College's School of Music, King is also an associate lecturer at UMass Boston. His deep musical background allows him to seamlessly blend classical technique with contemporary style, delivering polished and expressive instrumental arrangements.
