American Rose Films is a motion picture wedding studio led by Justin and Steph, partners in life and work. Based in Hebron, Connecticut, they travel widely to document weddings through the distinctive medium of analog film. Their work is rooted in the art of noticing, capturing the texture and feeling of a wedding day as it unfolds. Using primarily 16mm and Super 8mm film stock, they create wedding films where each frame is physically exposed to light and developed through a chemical process. This analog approach results in a wedding film that feels like a memory, with the warmth and imperfection that only film can provide.
